Restaurant terms
These Restaurant Terms summarize key obligations for venues that use UzEats. They supplement the Restaurant Partnership Agreement that owners sign electronically during onboarding.

1. Partnership agreement
Before going live, an authorized representative must sign the Restaurant Partnership Agreement in the owner dashboard onboarding flow. The signed agreement is stored for your records and defines fees, termination, indemnity, and governing law. This page is a summary only; the signed agreement controls in case of conflict.
2. Your responsibilities
- Keep menu items, prices, allergens, and hours accurate and up to date
- Accept or reject orders promptly and fulfill them safely and on time
- Maintain required business, health, and alcohol licenses where applicable
- Configure delivery or pickup correctly and communicate pickup instructions
- Manage staff accounts and protect dashboard credentials
- Complete Stripe Connect onboarding before accepting card payments
3. Fees and payouts
Platform convenience or service fees, Stripe processing fees, and cash platform fees (if enabled) are disclosed in your dashboard and admin configuration. Payouts are sent to your connected Stripe account according to Stripe's schedule after verification.
4. POS and integrations
Optional integrations (Square, Toast, Clover, Lightspeed, and others) sync menus or orders subject to those providers' terms. You are responsible for connection credentials and data accuracy.
5. Customer data
You receive customer information needed to fulfill orders. Use it only for that purpose and in compliance with privacy laws. Do not sell customer lists or send unrelated marketing without consent where required.
6. SMS text alerts (opt-in consent)
UzEats may send transactional text messages to restaurant partners who explicitly opt in. Messages are delivered via Twilio to the owner phone on file (your account phone or an internal contact configured by your platform admin). SMS is off by default; we do not send text alerts until an authorized representative enables them.
How we collect consent. Opt-in consent is collected in the owner dashboard under Settings → Advanced → SMS text alerts, where you must check Enable SMS notifications to agree to receive messages. The toggle explains that SMS fees may apply under your platform agreement. Saving that setting records your consent for the phone number associated with your restaurant account.
What you may receive. When enabled, messages may include new order alerts, reminders about unaccepted orders, invoice and billing notices, holiday-hours reminders, notices when online ordering resumes after a pause, and important platform or app updates related to your restaurant account.
Opt out. You may withdraw consent at any time by turning off Enable SMS notifications in Dashboard → Settings → Advanced. After you opt out, we stop sending non-essential SMS except where a single message is required to confirm your opt-out or as otherwise required by law.
Message frequency varies with your restaurant activity and enabled alert types. Message and data rates may apply. For how we handle phone numbers and related personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Reviews, promotions, and content
You may run promotions configured in the dashboard. You grant us permission to display your menu and branding on the Service. Customer reviews, where enabled, should be addressed professionally.
8. Suspension
We may suspend or remove listings for policy violations, fraud risk, legal requirements, or repeated customer complaints. Outstanding orders and payouts will be handled in line with the Partnership Agreement.
