This policy explains how Uzeats USA LLC("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use UzEats(the "Service"). By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Uzeats USA LLC operates UzEats. Our mailing address is 20844 Waterbeach Pl, Sterling, VA 20165. For questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at support@uzeats.com. You can also reach us through our contact page.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and profile — When you register or sign in, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, password (stored securely; we do not store it in plain text), delivery or pickup preferences, and optional profile details you choose to provide.
  • Orders and transactions — Information needed to place and fulfill orders: items, quantities, special instructions, restaurant and location details, payment status, and communications related to your order. Payment card data is handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Restaurant and partner data — If you manage a restaurant or partner account, we collect business contact information, menu content, payout-related identifiers as required by payment partners, and operational data you submit through the dashboard.
  • Technical and usage data — Device type, browser, approximate location derived from IP (where applicable), log data, cookies, and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
  • Support and correspondence — Content you send when you contact support or respond to surveys.
  • Sign-in providers — If you use Google or similar OAuth, we receive profile information allowed by your provider (such as name and email).
  • Location and maps — Address, map pin, or geocoding data when you use delivery address features powered by Google Maps or Places.
  • Proximity promo alerts (mobile, opt-in) — If you turn on proximity alerts in the mobile app, we may collect device location after you move a meaningful distance (for example, about 300 meters) to detect when you are near participating restaurants and send optional promotional notifications. This is separate from order status notifications and is disabled by default. You can turn it off at any time in the app settings.
  • Loyalty and promotions — Program enrollment, points balance, and redemption history where loyalty features are enabled.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to operate, improve, and secure the Service, including to:

  • Create and manage accounts and authenticate users
  • Transmit orders to restaurants and coordinate fulfillment
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Send transactional messages (order updates, receipts, security notices)
  • Send optional proximity-based promotional alerts when you opt in on the mobile app and are near a participating restaurant
  • Provide customer support and respond to legal requests where required
  • Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage to improve the product
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Restaurants you order from — So they can prepare and fulfill your order (e.g., name, contact details, address or pickup instructions, order contents).
  • Service providers — Vendors that help us host the platform, process payments (including Stripe for card payments and Stripe Connect for restaurant payouts), send email (e.g. SendGrid or Amazon SES), deliver web push notifications, provide maps, or support optional POS integrations (such as Square, Toast, Clover, or Lightspeed), under contractual obligations to protect data.
  • Legal and safety — When we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or Uzeats USA LLC.
  • Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.

5. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Order records may be retained for a period consistent with tax and consumer protection obligations. When you delete your customer account, we apply a privacy-oriented deletion process that removes or anonymizes personal identifiers where feasible, while retaining certain minimal records where the law requires (for example, anonymized transaction history). Opt-in proximity location reports are retained for up to 30 days; alert deduplication records tied to your account are removed when you delete your account or disable proximity alerts.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to sign out from shared devices.
