Refund Policy
This Refund Policy describes how refunds and cancellations work for orders placed through UzEats. Food is sold by participating restaurants; Uzeats USA LLC provides the ordering platform and payment routing where applicable.

1. Who to contact
For order issues, contact the restaurant first when possible using details on your order confirmation. You may also email support@uzeats.com with your order number, restaurant name, and a short description of the problem.
2. When refunds may be issued
Refunds or credits may be considered when, for example:
- Items were missing, incorrect, or materially not as described
- The order was cancelled by the restaurant or could not be fulfilled
- Duplicate charges or clear payment errors occurred
- Promotional discounts or loyalty redemptions were applied incorrectly
Refunds are generally not available for change-of-mind after food has been prepared, except where required by law or at the restaurant's discretion.
3. Card payments
Approved refunds for card orders are returned to the original payment method through Stripe or our payment processor. Timing depends on your bank (often 5–10 business days). Partial refunds may be issued when only part of an order was affected.
4. Cash orders
If cash on delivery or pickup is enabled for a venue, refunds for cash orders are handled directly between you and the restaurant unless we state otherwise at checkout.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel before the restaurant accepts or begins preparing the order when the product allows it. After preparation starts, cancellation may not be possible. Restaurants may cancel orders that they cannot fulfill; if you were charged, a refund will be processed where applicable.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank, we and the restaurant may provide order records to the payment network. Please contact us before filing a chargeback so we can try to resolve the issue faster.
7. Restaurant-initiated refunds
Restaurant owners and platform administrators may issue refunds through dashboard tools according to their permissions and our operational policies.
